to continue with my wrapping up NCAA football reg season

to continue
I will get back on my most dissapointing teams,I have two more left..however Id like to look at more individual accomplishments since theyre at the top of my head..

Freshmen of the Year:
1)Deion Butler/Jordan Norwood/Justin King/Derrick Williams(Penn State)-without question they brought life and electricity to an unfortunatley once dormant PSU offense. They allowed JoePA to indeed open up the playbook, and each one was so much of a target that defenses were kept on their toes at all times. If secondaries had them covered, than that simply allowed for Micheal Robinson to showcase his sensational scrambling and playmaking abilities, and allowed Tony Hunt to gain over 1,000 yards on the ground. When a clutch catch was needed, every one in this dynamic tandem came through at one pt or the other. King even went both ways playing defensive back, versataile would be only one of a million words to describe these young men. I cant wait to see them the next 3 years in the Blue and White! Thank You!

2) Mario Mannigham,Michigan-WHile most were expecting great things from Mr. Football in Michigan,Kevin Grady, and the highly touted Antonio Bass, Mannigham quietly came into his own as one of Michigan's clutch receivers, even at points looking to be a favorite target of Chad Henne, brightest moment was easily when he burnt Alan Zemaitis of PSU before my eyes at the Big House for the winning td with no time left on the clock. He came into his own within a couple games, and was a clutch receiver for the Maize and Blue, scoring many touchdowns as well. On an otherwise mediocre and dissapointing year for the Wolverines, he was a major bright spot, Wolverine fans should look forward to seing him become a star the next couple years. Number 86 looks like a special player.

Top Unsung Heroes:
1) Jeff Samardzja,ND-No one had a clue this kid existed before 3 games into the season, and it still took most of the season to realize he was a big time player. As much as I hate the Irish, gotta admit, where the hell did he come from? wow!
2)Mannigham-see above
3)Maurice Drew-an electric running back for the UCLA Bruins, while most people were looking at Reggie Bush which is highly justified, his cross town rival has put up tremendous numbers runnin the rock for the Bruins and has proven clutch.
4)Penn State's Offensive Line-Opened up excellent running lanes for Tony Hunt, and provided excellent protection for Micheal Robinson, would PSU's offense be as good without the solid line play?
5)Jay Cutler,Vandy-this QB is NFL material, almost single handedly beat Floridia in the swamp! Vandy and Cutler did not receiver nearly the notoriaity they deserved!

.....anyway..thats all for now,I will update when Im less tired and have more in mind!
